Autumn Fair gains nominations for Best Trade Show award

i2i Events Group has revealed that Autumn Fair has been shortlisted for Best Trade Show at this year’s Exhibition News (EN) awards.

This year, the Best Trade Show award is open to any trade exhibition held in the UK during 2015, with industry peers responsible for selecting the finalists and winners.

Show organisers are assessed on their ability to meet show objectives, produce marketing campaigns, record improvements in commercial performance, demonstrate visitor and exhibitor attendance growth and the show’s longevity.

Naomi Barton, portfolio director for Autumn Fair, said: “I am very proud that Autumn Fair has been short-listed for this prestigious award. The show has grown tremendously over the past few years as buying patterns have changed and retailers move increasingly towards seasonal buying at key times.”

i2i Events Group received a total of 15 nominations across several categories, which recognised exhibitions and the teams and inviduals working on them.

A highlight during last year’s event saw the introduction of The Light Show, which also saw several new international exhibitor pavilions within the home sector.

"Autumn Fair is one of the most important transactional events in the retail trade and we’ve been pulling out all the stops to make it an inspirational experience for our visitors and exhibitors," added Barton.

"It is wonderful that our efforts have been recognised in this way, and I would also like to congratulate our fellow nominees. I look forward to raising a glass with you all at the awards in April.”

The winners will be announced during a ceremony held on April 28th at Park Plaza, Westminster.
