The Works recalls My Little Dolls House over high levels of chemicals

Discount retailer The Works is recalling a princess themed doll’s house after the toy was found to contain dangerous levels chemicals.

The My Little Dolls House by Igloo Books has come under fire after high levels of phthalate were discovered in the doll contained in the box set.

All Dolls sold between August 2015 and January 2016 with the catch number FIR0030715 are affected by the recall, while a spokesman said that all other batches of this title are unaffected.

The firm has declared that anyone with an affected doll should dispose of the toy and email the manufacturer for a replacement product at with a copy of their proof of purchase.

Alternatively, dolls can be returned to the store they were brought from.
