First images of LEGO Disney Minifigures emerge online

The first images of a new line-up of Disney LEGO Minifigures have emerged online.

What started as a rumour late last year, with first shot sneak peeks at sculpts has now been confirmed with the first look at a line-up of 18 iconic characters from the Disney portfolio.

Buzz Lightyear features alongside Donald Duck, Captain Hook, Aladdin, Genie, Ariel, Mickey Mouse and Alice from Alice in Wonderland in a cast of some of Disney’s most beloved characters.

The new collection is only the third time LEGO has launched a licensed line of Minifigures and follows The Simpsons line that launched in 2013 and The LEGO Movie collection.

Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, the Cheshire Cat, Mr. Incredible, Syndrome, Stitch, Ursula, Maleficent and Pizza Planet Alien also feature in the collection.

An official launch date for the LEGO Disney Minifigures line is yet to be confirmed, but lines are expected to land in UK stores this May.
