Warner Bros revs up superhero lines for Toy Fair season

Superheroes are set to lead the way for Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) at New York Toy Fair this week.

WBCP in partnership with DC Entertainment will be showcasing its roster of licensees for its DC Super Hero Girls line.

WBCP joins master toy partner Mattel to unveil the new toy collection for the first time at Mattel’s showroom, which features a six-inch action figure designed for girls and a selection of 12-inch action figures.

DC Comics’ icons such as Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Harley Quinn, Bumble Bee, Poison Ivy, Katana and more have all been developed into dolls to complete the line.

In addition, WBCP’s merchandise based on the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice film will be arriving at retailers worldwide this month.

Global master toy licensee Mattel will be displaying its toy line based on the new film at New York Toy Fair, including action figures, vehicles, playsets and collectible figures.

Other partners supporting the film franchise include LEGO, who will develop construction sets based on the film, and Rubie’s who will launch a range of costumes.

Additional partners include, Jakks Pacific, Funko, Thinkway Toys, Spin Master, Sakar International and Toner Dolls to name a few.

Plus, WBCP will also display the Batmobile from the new film at the first ever Play Fair during New York Toy Fair.

During Nurmeberg Toy Fair, WBCP also showcased its collection from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and the franchise DC Super Hero Girls.
