Miss out on last year’s Inventors Workshop? Check out our highlights video

Based on feedback from delegates and toy firms alike, last year’s event was another major success and we’ll even be announcing one of the day’s biggest success stories at US Toy Fair later this week.

Both conference streams provoked some fascinating tales and great insight. Who knew Jenga started life as a drinking game? (Leslie Scott claims she meant tea, not booze. I don’t buy it) and the pitching sessions made for a fascinating afternoon.

This year’s Inventors Workshop will take place on Tuesday, September 20th at Whittlebury Hall, Northamptonshire.

The event will provide both practical advice to delegates, along with the opportunity to actually get their ideas and inventions in front of leading toy manufacturers, distributors and retailers. The student hackfest will also return, giving universities the chance to show off their students’ design talent.
