Schleich eyes ‘further growth’ this year with return to TV advertising

Schleich has detailed its plans for further expansion throughout 2016, with a return to TV marketing in the mix.

The move follows what the firm has billed as an ‘exceptionally strong’ 2015 as it now declares TV sponsorship to be at the heart of its marketing activity this year.

Schleich will kick off with a 24 week sponsorship package with Boomerang starting the week before Easter, featuring all the non-licensed sectors of the Schleich portfolio, including Farm and Wild Life, Horses and Dinosaurs.

Further marketing and PR will take place across the entire Schleich range including kids’ press and outreach to digital mums.

“After having a great year n 215, it is our intention to grow further and in order to do that we are delighted to be bringing TV advertising back into the Schleich marketing mix,” said Jeremy Robinson, Schleich’s UK country manager.

“It is however just a small part of our plans for 2016 as we have a huge amount of new activity to announce soon all of which will support our retail partners.”
