LeapFrog teams with BBC to launch three new games for Epic

LeapFrog has detailed a new partnership with BBC Worldwide to launch a line of three new apps based on some of CBeebies’ most popular kids’ properties.

Aimed at children aged three to six, the new apps feature characters such as Charlie and Lola, Hey Duggee and Sarah and Duck and are added to the now burgeoning LeapFrog Learning Library.

The trio of interactive games aim to encourage youngsters to improve their creative and problem-solving skills, build confidence and develop their imaginations.

Hey Duggee: The Big Badge App features six interactive games featuring popular characters from the show, while Charlie & Lola: My Little Town encourages youngsters to build a unique town using their imagination and creativity.

Finally, Sarah & Duck: Day in the Park sees kids fly kites, catch raindrops, feed ducks and make new friends as well as get to work building a new park.

The partnership marks the first time BBC Worldwide has partnered with LeapFrog and the new additions bring the Learning Library’s roster of titles to over 600.

Gail Fisher, UK and EMEAA content and licensing manager at LeapFrog, said: “CBeebies content is some of the most requested from our consumers so we are delighted to finally be able to offer them these three fantastic new games for the LeapFrog Epic tablet.

“Along with bringing their favourite characters to life, these new apps will also teach children problem solving and allow them to develop their creative skills.”
