LEGO has managed to hold on to its title of Toy of the Show at this year’s Toy Fair, as its new interactive launch Nexo Knights scooped the Editor’s Choice accolade for the second year running.
The new line – an expansion on the ideas explored in the LEGO Ultra Agents range – combines character based LEGO kits with a tie-in game that can be played on a smartphone or tablet on Android or iOS.
Nexo Knights was selected as this year’s Editor’s Choice by a panel of journalists from across broadcast, national, consumer and trade titles who were asked to name their top three products of London Toy Fair 2016.
LEGO’s new launch came in at first place, ahead of Spin Master’s Paw Patrol Air Patroller and VTech’s Toot Toot Splash Bath Island which placed second and third respectively.
Last year, LEGO was handed the award for its LEGO Minecraft range.
