Spielwarenmesse has named its four ToyAward winners for this year’s show.
In the Baby & Infant category (0 to 2 years), Globber’s Globber 5 in 1 triumphed.
The Globber 5 in 1 transforms into a fully-fledged scooter with just a few adjustments.
‘The jury was not only impressed by the design, but also how simply the product could be adjusted for the various stages, its high-quality finish and its value for money’, read a statement from Spielwarenmesse.
In the Pre-School category (3 to 5 years), Revell’s Junior Kit scooped the prize.
The jury praised the product’s “solid workmanship and added value”.
Zuru’s Bunch O Balloons triumphed in the School Kids category (6 to 10 years).
The jury, who thought this was a money-spinner in the making, was “a superb product at a reasonable price”.
Finally, in the Teenager and Family category (11 years and older), Kosmos’ KosmoBits came out on top.
With a controller board and four sensor characters, kids play through the app, level by level, solving programming puzzles and the jury deemd it ‘a top-class science kit.’
The winners of the ToyAward are presenting innovative components in traditional toys, while illustrating the technical progress made in the industry.
