Hamleys partners with St James’s Hotel to launch board game-themed afternoon tea

Toy retailer Hamleys has teamed up with St James’s Hotel & Club to launch a board game-themed afternoon tea experience.

Dubbed It’s All In The Game Afternoon Tea, the experience can be enjoyed on its own or as part of a family package the hotel has put together with the retailer.

The afternoon tea features a range of elements from original board games such as Chess, including dice made out of cake, chocolate Monopoly hats, chocolate Chess pieces, edible Scrabble letters, shortbread dominoes and more.

If guests opt for the family package, they will receive a night’s stay at the London hotel, a discount voucher for Hamley’s, as well as a VIP tour around the toy shop, which will include goodie bags and cake.

The VIP treatment will set fans back £235 per person.
