Wild Card Games eyes global expansion following ‘milestone’ 2015

Following a milestone 2015, Wild Card Games has outlined plans to expand into new markets this year.

The firm’s sales volume increased by over 50 per cent in 2015 and sales value increased by significantly more. Now, the focus is expanding to new territories.

"In 2016, we aim to achieve continued growth by increasing our product range with existing retailer base, recruiting new retailers both big and small and expanding into new markets, particularly in Europe and North America," Sean Byrne, managing director at Wild Card Games, told ToyNews.

This year also promises to be one to remember for Wild Card Games as the firm is launching its latest title, Ski Run, and Byrne is confident it will be a hit.

"Our expectations for Ski Run is massive," added Byrne.

"The market is huge as there are millions of skiers in the UK. People book skiing holidays before Christmas, but don’t go till after Christmas, so consumers will buy it to take with them.

"Also, after 2015’s lack of snow in Europe, people will be looking for things for post ski entertainment more than ever before!"
