Stars join Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake, who will also be writing songs for the film.

James Corden, Russell Brand and Gwen Stefani join Trolls movie

DreamWorks has unveiled the wider cast of voice actors for its upcoming Trolls movie, inspired by the iconic toy line.

Joining Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake in the animated movie will be James Corden, Russell Brand, Gwen Stefani, Ronald Funches, Kunal Nayyar and Swedish electropop duo, Icona Pop.

As well as starring in the film, Timberlake has also signed on to write and perform original music for the film, serving as executive music producer for Trolls.

“I have always envisioned bringing the two worlds of film and music together for one epic event and couldn’t be more excited that they will collide in DreamWorks’ Trolls," Timberlake told The Hollywood Reporter.

"This film is very special, the music is going to be very special and I can’t wait for everyone to experience it all.”

DreamWorks Animation’s co-presidents of feature animation, Bonnie Arnold and Mireille Soria, added: “Justin is an amazingly versatile artist and producer whose unprecedented creative talents provide a unique voice and sound for our movie.

“Trolls is a comedy with fantastic music at its core and we can’t think of a more perfect artist to elevate this soundtrack to incredible heights.”

DreamWorks Animation and 20th Century Fox have revealed the characters from their upcoming musical comedy Trolls.
