Kickstarter success story and range of constructable dart blasters PaperShooters is making its retail debut this season with its first line in Menkind and RED5.
Following a successful Kickstarter campaign that saw the firm place in the top three per cent of crowdfunding projects of all time, PaperShooters will be landing on shelves in time for this year’s Christmas period.
The first retailers to stock PaperShooters Zombie Slayer model PaperShooter are high street gift and gadget specialists, Menkind and RED5.
A labour of love, the PaperShooters project first emerged back in 2012 when it was created by PaperShooters founder, Mike Howarth.
Howarth said: “Launching a completely new type of product is a long process and we have ben working on this product for over three years.
“Getting in to prestigious retailers like Menkind and RED5 is a massive boost to our growth.”
PaperShooters Zombie Slayer is a 124 piece cardboard construction kit, with a mold allowing users to make their own ‘soft splat’ ammo from ordinary paper.
The team behind the soft pellet blasters raised almost $75,000 via its Kickstarter campaign back in June this year.
Paul Kraftman, founder of Menkind, said: “We have been in touch with Mike several times and have seen his product’s development. We are really excited to include PaperShooters in our family of great gadgets.”
The coming months will see PaperShooters launch a range of new skin designs.
