Spin Master has revealed that its MD Kevin Jones, who has led the European markets to success since 2012, will be stepping down from his role.
Jones will depart from the company at the end of 2015, and will pass over his role to the leaders who have been responsible for building a strong foundation in each market.
The toy company is expanding its European organisation to help deliver the firm’s strong growth plans across Europe.
The current European Affiliate business, which comprises the UK, France, Italy, Germany and Benelux market offices, will now be reorganised into two regional business units. The units will now be led by two new regional general managers.
Hedley Barnes will be promoted to regional general manager north, where Barnes will focus on the UK, Germany and Benelux.
Meanwhile, Guillaume Mamez will be named regional general manager south, which will comprise France and Italy.
In addition, in the UK, Jacqueline Taylor-Foo will be promoted to commercial director of sales, while Phil Hooper will be promoted to commercial director of marketing.
Spin Master says that Taylor-Foo and Hooper will continue to lead and develop the UK market with a broader commercial role that reflects their contribution to the business.
Benoit Gadbois, global president and COO, said: “We would like to thank Kevin for his contributions to Spin Master over the past 10 years.
“Kevin has built both the business and the team across Europe who are well placed to take Spin Master to the next level as we continue to nurture both brands and talent across all our European markets.”
