US: The One World Doll Project’s Prettie Girls prove a hit with Walmart

The One World Doll Project’s line of multi-cultural fashion dolls have proven to be a hit with Walmart in the US.

The retailer has placed a substantial reorder for the firm’s new Prettie Girls! Tween Scene collection and the doll line will benefit from a boosted in-store presence across additional Walmart stores throughout the US from spring 2016.

“We are pleased that Walmart has decided to place a considerable reorder on the Prettie Girls! Tween Scene collection,” said Trent T. Daniel, founder of The One World Doll Project.

“We have created this new line with a goal of positively influencing young girls and providing them with a doll that both inspires and relates them personally. As we expand our Walmart presence, we have the ability to achieve this cultural impact and it is an accomplishment we are incredibly proud of.”

Founder Trent T. Daniel and creative designer Stacey McBride-Irby launched the original line of Prettie Girls! dolls in 2013 after noticing a substantial lack of diversity in the market.
