Hasbro has licensed the UK rights for its classic Stickle Bricks and Mr Frosty brands to GP Flair
First created in 1969, the Stickle Bricks brand has seen decades of success and makes it easy for children to stick, stack and build.
The Mr Frosty brand first launched back in 1980 and fast became the must have toy that topped every kid’s Christmas list for the whole of the decade.
Nic Aldridge, marketing director, GP Flair commented: “We are very excited about this new venture for 2016. Both brands present excellent play value and are just the type of properties that Flair likes to include in its portfolio. The Stickle Bricks brand promotes the development of dexterity and imagination, while the Mr Frosty brand is highly creative and encourages the best in shared and co-operative play.
“Many will remember that Flair has already experienced great success with the Stickle Bricks brand, having distributed the brand for eight years until 2008 and taking it to the number two spot for junior construction buckets. We therefore have great expectations for this next chapter in the Stickle Bricks/Flair history. With the Mr Frosty brand, however, this will be a new experience for us. But the heritage of the brand speaks for itself and we aim to take it to the top of its category once again.”
Grant Gie, licensing director, Hasbro added: "GP Flair has an undeniable history of success when it comes to re-launching classic brands and we look forward to this future partnership knowing two of our most loved brands are in safe hands.”
