This year has seen the competition for the sought after 26th Perudo World Championship places, where qualifiers for the event have been fought out across the UK.
With the event taking place in London in November, players travelled from far and wide to compete in the final qualifying event at The Concorde Club near Southampton last week.
The accolade of South Coast Perudo champion was awarded to Jon Sutton from Hertfordshire with Lee Johnson taking the runner up spot.
Players also battled it out at The W Hotel in Leicester Square earlier in September and in Glasgow this summer to secure their spots for the 26th anniversary Perudo World Championships that will be held at the Groucho Club this November.
"It is fantastic to see there are so many Perudo fans all over the UK and for the second year running these qualifying events have been oversubscribed in just 24 hours,” commented Richard Wells, sales director of Paul Lammond Games. “The popularity of this strategic and entertaining dice game just continues to grow year on year.
"Perudo is a game which evokes genuine passion and competitiveness along with the usual dose of bluff, counterbluff and hilarity. All our final tables were closely fought out and we are look forward to seeing all our finalists in London for the World Championships."
