The first Star Wars: The Force Awakens toys have been unveiled in a live YouTube unboxing video in Australia.

Variety reports that the unveiling was part of an unboxing event, which will span an 18 hour block with YouTubers in Disney’s Maker Studios network in 15 cities in 12 countries offering a first look at the range of merchandise from the upcoming film.

The first of the new merchandise revealed was the BladeBuilders Jedi Master Lightsaber from Hasbro, unboxed in Sydney, Australia. Among the other first toys revealed was large-size action figures of villain Kylo Ren and a First Order Stormtrooper, Poe Dameron’s X-wing fighter from LEGO and the Hot Wheels’ Escape from Jakku Starship play set.

The event will run through Asia, Europe, Canada, South America and the USA, concluding in San Francisco at LucasFilm, leading up to Force Friday.

“There are always big movies every year, but this is the first time I’ve seen a product line launch three months before the film itself,” Martin Brochstein, senior VP of industry relations and information for the International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Assn told Variety.
