Jasco Games has partnered with Capcom to launch a Street Fighter board game.
The partnership will see some of the video game franchise’s well-known characters enter the board game arena and the deal allows Jasco Games to publish the Street Fighter board game worldwide, excluding Japan.
Elsewhere, Jasco Games also plans to incorporate the Street Fighter characters to its Universal Fighting System card game.
This will be the second time Jasco Games has partnered with Capcom having previously obtained permission to create the official Mega Man Board Game, which will launch later this year.
“We’re extremely excited to be working with Capcom again and are eager to share with our fans and the board game community our plans,” said Jason Hawronsky, president and founder of Jasco Games.
“We’ve received overwhelming support on both our Mega Man UFS series and the upcoming board game. We know that both our fans and fans of Street Fighter will be thrilled to see these iconic characters return to the board game genre.”
