“As a professional inventing studio, we will be offering support to anyone who would like to know how to optimise the potential of their idea."

Ooba Toys joins Inventors Workshop 2015

Award-winning inventing studio Ooba Toys has signed up as a super sponsor for this year’s Inventors Workshop and will be available during the One2One pitching sessions to offer both new and seasoned inventors a place to chat and to find out more about the process of selling ideas.

Based in London, Ooba is widely recognised as one of the best sources of innovative game concepts in the world, having created brands such as Hotel, Don’t Wake Dad, Ghost Castle, Tumblin Monkeys, Fibber and Think Words.

“We are extremely excited about being a part of this years Inventor’s Workshop," said Max Ford, managing director at Ooba.

"As a professional inventing studio, we will be on hand to offer support to anyone who would like to optimise the potential of their idea; including advice on how to develop it, how best to pitch it and how to get the best deal."

Ooba’s Sally Jacobs added: “Ooba loves partnering with inventors and our door will be open to all, not only to share our insights as a professional inventing house but also to give inspiration and direction to help unlock all those future ideas. Everyone is welcome to pop in for a biscuit and to collect some inspirational flyers."

The team at Ooba collaborates closely with inventors and inventing studios around the world in the happy pursuit of a great idea. For over 25 years the studio has specialised in finding and developing the most culturally relevant and innovative toy and game concepts, and signing them to producers and distributors that dominate the global toy and game market.

Today the firm also offers its concepts as tooled and ready-to-ship products in China, complete with packaging and TV commercials. This route to market has proven overwhelmingly successful with global distributors who cannot justify tooling an item for just their own markets. It has enabled Ooba to reach more countries per concept and unlock greater revenues for them and their inventors.

This year’s Inventors Workshop will be at held at Whittlebury Hall in Northampton on Tuesday, September 22nd 2015.

The event will see some of most innovative and influential toy and game manufactures, technology companies and financial houses present, discuss and connect with over 150 inventors expected at the one-day conference.
