The Build-A-Bear Workshop is gearing up for the launch of its first multimedia product line called Honey Girls.

Aimed at an older, Tween audience, the range of three plush characters will be available in stores and online and are brought to life through interactive stories, songs and music videos via an accompanying app.

Developed to offer kids further engagement with the Build-A-Bear Workshop, the Honey Girls are made up of Teegan, the lead singer, Risa the guitarist and viv the drummer. Each boasts their own signature song and strengths that help the friends ‘be brighter together.’

The free Honey Girls Studio app is now available on Google Play and iTunes, and lets users create their own music videos and photos using exclusive Honey Girls songs and images.

“Our Honey Girls story empowers girls to embrace each other’s skills and talents to be brighter together,” said Gina Collins, chief marketing officer, Build-A-Bear Workshop.

“At Build-A-Bear, we want to inspire a sense of confidence and self-expression in our guests, who we believe will be drawn to this unique product line.”

The Honey Girls line is Build-A-Bear’s first multimedia offering designed to embrace creativity with original songs created by Grammy award winner, Tena Clark.

Each character in the range has a retail price of £21 and includes optional outfits and accessories, sold separately.
