BBC worldwide has appointed Fisher-Price as its global master toy partner for its much-anticipated new pre-school series, Go Jetters.
Launched originally on the CBeebies website, the animated series is scheduled to air on the BBC pre-school channel CBeebies in autumn 2015.
Under the multi-year master toy license, Fisher-Price will develop a range of pre-school toys including electronic and non-electronic plastic figurines and vehicles, toys, vehicles, play-sets and feature and standard plush.
The collection is scheduled to debut in autumn/winter next year in the UK with roll-out to other markets including the US expected to follow shortly after.
Go Jetters will follow the adventures of four heroes, Xuli, Kyan, Lars and Foz, as they travel the world unraveling the plans of their nemesis, Grandmaster Glitch with the help of their mentor and friend Ubercorn, a disco-loving Unicorn.
The series, billed as ‘packed with comedy, teamwork and thrilling action,’ aim to help pre-school children develop their geographical knowledge.

“We know there’s a strong international appetite for animation and are looking forward to delivering a successful licensing programme.”
Susie Lecker, SVP global marketing and design at Fisher-Price, has stated that the firm is happy to once again be working alongside the BBC.
‘We are happy to bring the great content of Go Jetters to life through playtime with our toys,” she said. “Particularly exciting to us is the strong early childhood development component we can tuck into our toys encouraging social, emotional and cognitive skill building as children have fun exploring.”
Go Jetters is a co-production between CBeebies In-House Production and BBC Worldwide for CBeebies international channels.
