Cambridge University launches search for ‘professor of LEGO’

AFOLs, look alert, as Cambridge University is hiring a ‘professor of LEGO’.

The LEGO Foundation has teamed with Cambridge University to launch a Research Centre on Play in Education, Development, and Learning (PEDaL), led by the Faculty of Education.

The Telegraph reports that the successful candidate, (official title: director of the Research Centre on Play in Education, Development and Learning) will lead this department, after the university received £4 million of donations from the Lego Foundation.

The launch of the Centre is scheduled for October.
