Imagination Gaming has revealed the winners of its third global, hobby game awards competition.

The Imagination Gaming Game Awards aims to champion new games from around the world that engage kids and families while promoting basic social and curriculum based life skills.

This year sees winners emerge across seven categories, including Best Maths Game, Best Literacy Game, Best Cross-curriculum Game, The UKGE Family Zone Player’s Award, Best Family Game, Family Classic Awards and Excelled in Schools Awards.

The successful entrants will now be incorporated into Imagination Gaming’s daily events and programmes for education across the country.

Award founders Nigel Scarfe and Chris Standley said: “The key to a game’s success is great content, mechanics and design. For these, there are no substitutes and the awards recognise this.”

The winners of this year’s Imagination Gaming Awards, are:

Silver Award: Chickyboom!

Best Literacy Game

Silver Award: Lugu
Bronze Award: Fast Words

Best Cross-Curiculum Game
Gold Award: BrainBox The World
Silver Award: Extaordinaires Buildings
Bronze Award: Blocky Mountains

The UKGE Family Zone Player’s Award
Gold Award: Loony Quest
Silver Award: Battle Sheep
Bronze Award: Brave Rats

Best Family Game
Gold Awards: Loony Quest, The Hare and The Tortoise, Eggs and Empires
Silver Awards: Merry Yard, Brave Rats, Adventure Tours
Bronze Awards: Battle Sheep, Kings gold, Machi Koro

Family Classic Awards
