Celebrity mothers Imogen Thomas, Laura Hamilton and Emma Stephens joined journalists and bloggers in London yesterday to welcome The Irish Fairy Door Company to the UK.
The media swarmed to the official celebrations at a central London eatery at the exclusive event held in a woodland-themed bar where guests were treated to a champagne reception.
Taking to the stage, the Irish Fairy Door Company co-founder Niamh Sherwin Barry addressed attendees with a speech on the success of the line of miniature doors within Ireland.
“We have already re-homed 150,000 fairies in just 18 months and we need your help to find homes for even more of our winged friends,” she explained.
Organisers of the event, Playtime PR, are very pleased with the success of the UK launch event.
“We attracted a healthy mix of national publications, the all important trade media, a number of high profile lifestyle and parenting bloggers, plus a handful of VIP mums who loved the product,” said Lesley Singleton of Playtime PR.
“The celebration secured branded exposure in the Mail Online, Reveal and OK! Magazine, and the social media engagement has been phenomenal.”
The event was held as a key element to The Irish Fairy Door Company’s launch to the UK market.
“It was also the perfect platform to unveil the new premium packaging, which generated a huge amount of positive feedback,” added Singleton.
The fairy doors are available now at £20 and the range is distributed in the UK exclusively by Ackerman International.
