Toys R US has become the first retailer to secure the new toy line from Fisher-Price based on the popular Nickelodeon pre-school series, Blaze and the Monster Machines.
Inspired by the hit animated series of the same name, the line-up features the monster truck Blaze and his eight-year-old driver AJ, alongside the show’s cast of characters.
The deal with Nickelodeon and Fisher-Price sees the line-up of plush, vehicles, die-cast, Slam & Go assortments, talking toys and more retail exclusively at Toys R Us stores across the US.
“As the popularity of Blaze and the Monster Machines continues to grow, we are excited to bring the adventures from the show into the homes of our fans,” said Manuel Torres, senior vice president of global toys and publishing at Nickelodeon Consumer Products.
“Fisher-Price has brought the signature styles, action and excitement from the show to life.”
James Uitdenhown, vice president of general merchandising at Toys R Us US, added: “We worked closely with our partners at Fisher-Price and Nickelodeon to be the first retailer to race this actin-packed line to shelves.
“Ever since Blaze and the Monster Machines roared to life, pre-schoolers have been clamouring for toys starring the show’s entire gang of characters.”
