Fairy Bricks will be hosting a two-day celebration of everything LEGO in Manchester this summer.

LEGO charity launches Bricktastic event to help kids across the UK

LEGO-inspired charity Fairy Bricks is taking to the heart of Manchester to celebrate all things LEGO with its first Bricktastic event.

To be held at the Manchester Central, the event will showcase a gallery of LEGO builds, constructed by some of the most celebrated LEGO builders in the UK, designed to inspire the next generation of fans.

Running from August 15th to 16th, professional LEGO designers will be on hand to inspire youngsters before they get creating their own builds in the brick pits or helping to build a mysterious, giant 120,000 piece LEGO brick mosaic construction.

Each day, three mosaic builders will win a prize for guessing what the mosaic picture will be.

LEGO displays on show at the event will include the revered work of members of the Brickish Association, Northern Brickworks and Brickshire. Meanwhile Master Builders will be at the show to teach about LEGO’s use in science and engineering.

Advanced tickets are now on sale for £11.50 for adults and £8.50 for children, with all proceeds from the event going towards Fairy Bricks, the charity that donates LEGO to children in hospital across the UK.
