DKL Marketing has developed new concept that blends digital and physical learning called Play Miniland.
Launching today in the UK, Play Miniland is a collection of digital and physical resources which aims to streamline play activities in both school and home environments.
The concept is a combination of active play, which involves manually learning with educational toys, and game based learning using digital games to support teaching and learning in the classroom.
The digital games will be used to reinforce and strengthen the lessons children have learned through playing with real toys.
Both teachers and parents can use Play Miniland, and to support the programme, there is an Educational Resources Workbook which is made up of several teaching and learning guides.
All educational resources – activity sheets, printable materials, and digital games – can be accessed through the www.playminiland.com website.
“Miniland’s new venture into digital learning reflects the brand’s commitment to creating top quality educational toys which complement modern technology," said Farel Williams, marketing and social media assistant.
