The Entertainer celebrates 100th store with local children

The Entertainer drew the crowds over the weekend as it opened its 100th store in Aylesbury.

The family-run toy chain invited members from the local charity PACE to participate in a trolley dash as part of the celebrations.

The store also offered the first 100 children to enter the new store a goody bag filled with toys and activities.

Cllr Allison Harrison, the Deputy Mayor of Aylesbury, Bill Chapple, Deputy Chairman of Bucks County Council and Gary Grant, founder of The Entertainer were all present for the grand opening of the milestone store.

Local children were even given the chance to meet and have photos taken with popular pre-school characters, including SpongeBob SquarePants, Craggers, LEGO Ninjago, My Playdoh and Mr. Banker from the Monopoly game.

The Mix Monster from local radio station Mix96 was also on hand to give visitors a wave.

Celebrations continued throughout the day with face painting, a children’s entertainer, balloon art, free cake and more.
