The Entertainer hosts charity trolley dash to mark Staines store reopening

UK toy retailer, The Entertainer is marking the reopening of its Staines store with a Power Rangers appearance and a charity trolley dash.

The newly refitted store will open its doors once more on Saturday, February 28th following its extensive refit.

The 3,767 square foot store, located in Two Rivers Retail Park will welcome fans and kids to meet the Red Power Ranger as well as offer special discount to kids purchasing Power Rangers or LEGO toy lines.

The store will also celebrate its grand reopening with a special trolley dash undertaken by local children who have been supported by Home-Start Spelthorne, a local charity who offers emotional and practical support to young families.

Amanda Salmon, senior co-ordinator of Home-Start Spelthorne, said: “We are extremely grateful to the Entertainer for inviting us to participate in this event and I know the children are really looking forward to being let loose in the store.”

Gary Grant, managing director and founder of The Entertainer, added: “After experiencing such solid growth across the UK we are pleased to announce the refit of the Staines store.

“Staines and the centre itself continues to offer a strong retail position for our store as it attracts large numbers of family shoppers who are demanding more toy shopping choice on the high street and within shopping centres.
