Mega Brands is preparing to launch a raft of construction toy lines based on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Power Rangers and Terminator Genisys.
Joining the Mega Bloks line-up of popular brands including SpongeBob SquarePants and Halo, the new line-up is scheduled to hit shelves in 2016.
The new ranges are expected to be revealed today at the New York Toy Fair.
Fans of Saban’s Power Rangers can expect a line-up inspired by the newest season of the franchise, Power Rangers Dino Charge, which premieres on February 7 on Nickelodeon in the US and will roll out globally later this year.
Meanwhile, the Mega Bloks Nickelodeon partnership will also introduce new Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles construction sets for 2016.
The line-up will be completed as Mega Bloks partners with Skydance Productions to produce Terminator Genisys collector construction sets and a range of Mega Bloks Star Trek limited edition collectors sets, in a partnership with CBS Consumer Products.
“We are truly thrilled to be expanding our partnership with Nickelodeon,” said Susie Lecker, senior vice president of global design and marketing at the Mattel owned, Mega Brands.
“Mega Bloks TMNT will be an anchor brand n our construction portfolio and we plan to infuse the line with exciting product innovation to ensure the most engaging consumer experiences for fans worldwide.”
