80 French Monopoly sets to contain real money

As part of Monopoly’s 80th anniversary celebrations, 80 editions of the French version of the game will feature real money.

One box will have the full complement in real money, €20,580, as well as some Monopoly money.

The Guardian reports that ten sets will contain five real €20 notes, two €50 notes and one €100 note while the remaining 69 sets will have five €10 notes and five €20 notes.

For eagle-eyed hunters of these pricey versions of the game, the added notes expand the box slightly making the package bigger than the regular Monopoly games.
