Vivid’s Drumond Park division celebrating 2014 success

Vivid’s Drumond Park division is celebrating a solid performance in 2014.

NPD figures (by value) show the brand to have held onto its number two position (behind Hasbro) in Total Games, as well as the number one slot in Adult Games. In addition, the brand came third in Pre-school/Children’s and Family Games.

"We are pleased to report that our LOGO Family – which numbered seven different games in 2014 – remains the UK’s number two property, behind Monopoly but ahead of Scrabble," commented Mary Wood, marketing director at Vivid.

"Interestingly, sales of our popular adult game Articulate have increased on last year’s figures – proving the staying power of this much loved perennial favourite.

"Needless to say, both LOGO and Articulate performed superbly in the crucially important month of December, with LOGO coming out top of the list and Articulate in fifth place. Our new Shout! game – which came onto the market quite late in the season – has also been well received by the trade and consumers alike, becoming the eighth best sellind adult game."

Wood continued: "We are looking forward to welcoming both buyers and journalists to the Drumond Park stand at Toy Fair next week. Of particular interest will be a number of new pre-school and children’s titles. Plus tje LOGO Lite family game, which contains 260 cards completely compatible with the original LOGO and is also a brilliant new game concept in its own right."
