LeapFrog celebrates 50,000 Facebook fans with charity giveaway

LeapFrog is donating 300 branded products to children’s charities and local organisations in need across the UK.

The gesture is being made as part of the firm’s celebrations for having reached 50,000 fans on its UK Facebook page this year.

LeapFrog has reportedly seen significant growth on its Facebook fan page following investment in to its social media strategy, introducing news, updates, live Q&As, events and new launches as well as content generated by parent bloggers.

The firm will now be calling upon its social media community to vote on which organisations will benefit from the donation of 300 LeapFrog products.

Among LeapFrog’s many social media initiatives, this year saw the launch of a monthly book club designed to promote the LeapReader and has quickly become one of the page’s most successful and high reaching posts.

Each month, a parenting blogger is selected to review the book of the month title, which is shared on the page alongside a chance to win a copy. The most recent post in November reached an audience of over 20,700 people, 632 likes, 881 comments and 175 shares.
