Character reports “high demand” for new Cra-Z-Knitz looming kit

Character Options is reporting an already high demand for its new Shimmer and Sparkle Cra-Z-Knitz Ultimate Designer Knitting Station.

Looking to perpetuate the looming craze into 2015, the new product entices kids to make the move from rubber bands to wool, aiming to teach youngsters the traditional art of knitting using the same principles of this year’s craze, Loom Bands.

Children and looming fans alike will now be able to create their own beanies, scarfs, mittens and more.

The firm is already seeing high demand for the Knitting Station and has received interest from national media, including a substantial article in the Sunday Express.

Kathryn Ludlam, brand manager at Character Options, said: “We are experiencing high demand for the Cra-Z-Knitz Knitting station which we believe to be the result of the looming craze moving to an alternative activity.

“Our marketing strategy will also harness the interest in the looming craze and ensure that kids know all about this great new option available to them.”
