The Good Toy Guide is to hold an exclusive play day with John Lewis to help customer find the right toys for kids this Christmas shopping period.
A selection of toys that are featured in the Good toy Guide will be demonstrated in a dedicated play zone with in the retailer’s Cambridge store.
Customers will be able to ask for advice and recommendations from the team’s various play experts.
“We are delighted to have been invited back to John Lewis, it is wonderful to work with a company that cares so much about its customers,” said Dr. Amanda gummer, founder of Fundamentally Children, the new home of The Good Toy Guide.
The Play Day will take place on Saturday, November 14th.
This week, the retailer has seen sales hit £95.7m, marking a 5.1 per cent increase on last year after it unveiled it Christmas advert featuring Monty the Penguin.
The Christmas campaign featuring the CGI penguins has already received more than 16 million views on social media, helping the firm achieve a sales increase of 3.9 per cent week on week.
Retail Week reports that the retailer’s online sales have surged by 17 per cent year on year, while the advert had achieved seven million views on social media in 24 hours.
By the end of last week, Monty the Penguin had become the most searched for term on the John Lewis website, while an in-store experience called Monty’s Den allows shoppers to meet Monty and Mabel using interactive technology.
