Rainbow Toy Awards 2014 winners revealed

The results of this year’s Rainbow Toy Awards have been announced.

A record number of entries were received at the Rainbow Toy Awards HQ and each one was scrutinised by its team of child toy testers. They ranked toys for play value, longevity, packaging, build quality, value for money and before offering their overall impression to an adult to report back by form.

“We have a very strict criteria and category selection for the Rainbow Toy Awards, there is only ever one Winner and one Highly Commended in each of the categories, so to win a Rainbow Toy Award is a real accolade for any company," said Peter Dawson.

“Each year the entries received just get better and better, with both quality of the products and the amount entered."

The 2014 Overall Champion was the Kidizoom Smart Watch by VTech.
