Tubby Brands launches limited edition game to raise funds for North West Ambulance Charity

Tubby Brands has launched a Crowdfunder campaign for a limited edition version of its Convoy game to raise funds for the North West Ambulance Charity.

The firm is looking to raise £12,000 of funding to manufacture 1,000 limited edition versions of the game, which will then be given to the North West Air Ambulance Charity for them to sell and raise funds.

"As the charity will not have to pay a penny for the licence fee to use our game or pay for any manufacturing costs, they will benefit from all the sales profits which could potentially be approximately £20,000," said Bernard Sparkes, Tubby Brands managing director and creator of Convoy.

"I know it is tight, but if we can complete this fantastic, worthwhile crowdfunding project in the 28 day time slot available, or less, there is the possibility that we can have these games on the shelves of the North West Air Ambulance Charity shops just in time for Christmas. That way the NWAA can start earning money".

 Convoy is a fast moving card game, that challenges the players to form ‘convoys’ unbroken lines of four same coloured counters in a straight line either vertically, horizontally or diagonally, anywhere on a board.
