ToyTesters.TV Awards 2014 winners revealed

The first ever ToyTesters.TV Awards were held last night at Cineworld’s Sky Superscreen in London’s O2 arena.

The Awards, devised by Gemma Gallagher and hosted by Nigel Clarke, saw 100 children test a range of nominated toys before a panel of head toy testers decided which of the finalists will win this year’s accolades, a line of awards created by the testers themselves.

Both the first wave of award winners, spanning a selection of product categories, as well as the winners of accolades were revealed via a film depicting the highlights of the toy testing process and the deliberations between the head toy testers.

Big winners on the night included the Crazy Cart, the Anki Drive and Mattel’s BoomCo.

"The Razor brand is having a great year and to be recognised in such a big way at the ToyTesters awards is truly the icing on the cake," said Katy Fletcher, brand manager, outdoor, Re:creation.

"The Razor Crazy Cart is an innovative ride-on like no other and scooping not one, but five awards on the night pays testament to the work that has gone into its design and development. Children themselves chose the winners and we’re delighted that they singled out the Crazy Cart as their stand-out favourite toy of the year."
