Presenters will go head to head with the top two toys, as chosen for by children.

TV presenter Anna Williamson and X Factor’s Luke Franks to appear in awards video has revealed the celebrities set to appear in a film screening at the Awards next week.

The Awards will reveal what over 120 children have voted the best toys and games of the year at an event held on October 23rd.

The top two toys as voted by children for each of the Accolade titles have gone through to a final, where children’s presenter and ITV host Anna Williamson, will pitch her assigned toys against Luke Franks, the online presenter of the X Factor, in a film shown on the night.

Gemma Gallagher, founder of, said: “We are massively excited. It has been such a wonderful experience working with so many children over the last few weeks. Our crew have worked their socks off to deliver something special that we hope will become a leading platform for toy awards in the future.

"Our aim was to enable everyone to be able to enter our awards. And I think it’s fair to say we’ve achieved it. We have received so much support from the toy industry, many commenting that our awards have enabled the smaller and medium sizes companies to be part of something they wouldn’t usually be able to afford.

"The highlight for us is children deciding on the winners, as they rightly should. We are really looking forward to revealing the finalists and winners.”

Children’s presenter and face of, Nigel Clarke, will host the film and the awards. The format of the evening focuses on the film, which will be played in the Sky Superscreen cinema, Cineworld at 5pm.

A press conference, with Nigel Clarke, Anna Williamson, Luke Franks, the head panel of Toy Testers and founder Gemma Gallagher will be held immediately after. An after show party for toy industry colleagues, the press and media and special guests will start at 7pm and finish at 10pm.

A limited amount of tickets are now on sale priced at £65 plus VAT. Email by October 17th for more details.
