Turtles visit Hamleys as Flair ramps up pre-Christmas character visits

GP Flair is ramping up its character visits in the run-up to Christmas, starting with a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle event at Hamleys.

This weekend will see the team of testudines drop in on the toy retailer’s flagship London store and its Manchester branch.

Michaelangelo and Donatello will be offering young fans the chance for a photo with hourly visits to the store, while Leonardo and Raphael will demonstrate their ninja abilities at Manchester’s Trafford Centre.

Each store will also be handing out competition cards and TMNT squidgems to a limited number of fans that arrive.

The event will be the first in a series of retailer character visits organised by the toy firm, GP Flair in the coming weeks and run-up to Christmas.

“As the number one action figure in the UK, the four brothers already have a huge fan base and we are therefore delighted to be able to afford them the opportunity to meet and greet with their favourite heroes,” said Mercedes Perez Munoz, brand manager, GP Flair.

“This is just one part of the major marketing activity we have to support the brand pre-Christmas. Our heavy weight TV schedule and online activity will help to keep TMNT at the top of the boys market.”
