Cartamundi to launch new Frozen card game

Cartamundi is gearing up for the launch of a new two-in-one card game inspired by Disney’s Oscar-winning animated film, Frozen.

The new card game blends Happy Families with a dedicated action game based on the popular movie, challenging players to get rid of all of their cards as quickly as possible.

To achieve this, players must match cards as well as face challenges such as play-acting and shouting out.

Arriving at toyshops, gift shops and supermarkets in late September, the card game features artwork of the leading characters, including Princess Elsa, Anna, Olaf the snowman, Kristoff, Sven, Prince Hans and Marshmallow.

Trudi Bishop, head of marketing and licensing, Cartamundi, said: “It’s always a delight to work with Disney brands, which have an enormous appeal, but Frozen has gone one step further to become one of the biggest animated hits of all time.

“We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to develop a game that we believe captures the humour, charm and magic of this modern animation classic.”
