Plush toys firm is heading to the Travel Retail Tradeshow to increase its presence in the growing sector.

Aurora World eyes expansion in to the travel sector

Aurora World is eyeing expansion into new sectors as the plush toys firm heads to this year’s Travel Retail Tradeshow.

The firm will spotlight its popular brands such as YooHoo & Friends, Peanuts and the Gruffalo at the show, which takes place at the London Gatwick Hilton Hotel this month.

The Korean owned soft toy specialist has confirmed that it sees the move as an “exciting step in its push in to the travel retail industry across the globe.”

Aurora World travel sales manager, Gary Stoner, said: “This is the perfect opportunity for Aurora to showcase its fantastic offering to the travel retail industry.

"All of our brands are innovative and fun and are ideal for travel retail, so I am hoping that we can achieve some new listings through the Travel Retail Tradeshow.

"The plush toy industry has significant opportunities for growth due to the current limited choice that is seen in travel retail.”

Stoner tells Moodie Report that the firm’s aim is to put Aurora World on the forefront of that growth.

“With the current licences we have I see no reason why this cannot be done," he concluded.
