House of Marbles has teamed with the supermarket giant Tesco to produce a one-off collection of retro toys and games.
The selection of toys has been developed in celebration of the Goodwood Revival weekend this month.
The range of toys, including a wooden train set, a weaving loom, spinning top, fighter plane and grand prix set will be sold at a specially made 1960s replica toy shop at the upcoming event.
Founded in 1973, House of Marbles specialises in toys and games from yesteryear, from the 1800s through to the 1980s. Each of the exclusive toys produced in the partnership have been recreated with their original box designs.
In an interview with West Morning News, Sarah Campbell, sales director at House or Marbles, said: “It has been great working with Tesco and producing retro toy and games for them.
“It was lovely to be approached and we have enjoyed using our skill and experience to supply them with a really authentic range. We hope all the visitors to Goodwood enjoy getting a chance to see them and we would love to hear what they think.”
Natalia Munro, Tesco toy buyer, added: “House of Marbles has been brilliant, the products are fantastic and we think they will be a real hit Goodwood.
“They will fit perfectly with out retro products and services and are sure to spark lots of happy memories for plenty of the revellers.”
