Last weekend saw the release of the first single from Simba Smoby’s Steffi Love.
This year has seen the doll brand make the move into music as Steffi Love became ‘a real life star with a real life pop career’.
Last Saturday her first single, Real Good Time, went on sale on iTunes, Amazon and all other online music retailers.
Simba reports that ‘initial responses have been great, with the YouTube video registering over 6,000 views in the first weekend alone’
The music video can also be found at Steffi’s new website, www.steffilove.co.uk. The new site boasts interactive videos and games for Steffi Love fans to play with as well as a news and events section.
Several retailers have reported more than 100 per cent like for like growth in Steffi sales compared to 2013 since the campaign went live, and Simba will be ordering more stock for later in the year to keep up with the increased demand.
