Hot Toys to create Star Wars figures

Hot Toys has acquired the right to manufacture 1/6th scale and 1/4th scale collectable Star Wars figures.

The Hong Kong based firm, known for its detailed high end creations, will launch a range of Star Wars figures from the original series, the prequel trilogy as well as next year’s Star Wars: Episode VII.

Hot Toys has previously launched ranges based on Marvel movies, the Dark Knight trilogy and The Terminator.

Most recently the firm launched a Marty McFly figure based on Back to the Future, as well as a Starscream version of Transformers’ Optimus Prime.
