LEGO joins forces with Super Camps

LEGO has teamed up with Super Camps, and will be providing hundreds of its Creative Towers for children to enjoy for free at the 74 camps run through the summer by the organisation.

Each Creative Tower kit includes 1,600 pieces, with LEGO pledging to supply every camp in the Super Camps portfolio with at least two brand new products for children to enjoy over the summer.

"LEGO brings children together brilliantly," said Guy Ker, MD of Super Camps. "The Creative Towers are designed to fire the imagination. Children can build houses, animals, dinosaurs, trees … the play possibilities are endless."

Victoria McCarrick, promotions and events manager at LEGO UK, added: "The relationship between LEGO UK and Super Camps is a perfect fit. I am sure that we will see some hugely creative builds happening across the UK during the summer months.

"With LEGO products, creativity holds no bounds and children will find this a perfect complement to the other activities that Super Camps offer."

Founded in 1996, Super Camps now runs throughout the year at 80 school venues in and around London and cities across England.

Ker continued: "This is great news for children this summer. Super Camps has a fantastic range of activities, from quad biking to swimming, from archery to rocket launching, but having brand new LEGO kits on every camp is the icing on the cake."
