The Entertainer has welcomed a new marketing director, who will hold full board responsibility for the retailer’s marketing and online departments.
Phil Geary joins The Entertainer following ten years at Holland & Barrett, where he held a variety of senior buying and marketing positions. He was most recently group marketing director for Holland & Barrett’s parent company NBTY.
He oversaw the marketing and online functions for over 900 stores across the UK, Ireland and Holland, as well as all of the brand’s e-commerce activities.
Geary was instrumental in the drive to put together Holland & Barrett’s first TV campaign right up to the current Good Life campaign, and latterly the introduction of the Rewards for life loyalty programme in 2011, which now boasts over five million members.
Geary joined parenting club Bounty in 2013, helping the brand better understand its consumer, personalising their experience and ensuring they are served the right content and offers at the right time.
