US: One World Doll Project responds to growing demand for Prettie Girls

The One World Doll Project has responded to a growing retail demand for its multicultural doll line, The Prettie Girls, by bringing inventory levels up by 75,000 units.

The production order has been increased to meet oncoming demand for the holiday season.

“It is imperative that we meet oncoming demand for the holiday season,” said Joanne Melton, CEO of One World.

“We are quite confident that an increased inventory order of 75,000 units will help ensure our ability to fulfill anticipated orders.”

The firm has attributed its increase in popularity to a successful Toy Fair 2014, which saw the brand establish an online presence, as well as bring The Prettie Girls dolls to superstores across the US.

One World now anticipates that this 2014 holiday season will be “successful and rewarding for both One World and its shareholders.”
