DreamWork’s Android-powered nabi DreamTab is to launch nationwide across the US in June.
The firm has partnered with US tech company Fuhu to create the tablet, available in both eight and 12-inch versions, and it was unveiled back in January at CES 2014.
The nabi DreamTab has been designed to engage kids with digital experiences that will ‘help them unlock their true potential’.
It combines the latest premium technology wit DreamWorks characters for an experience the company believes can ‘transform the way kids learn, play, and grow to inspire the next generation of creative heroes’.
Features will include Fuhu’s Wings Learning System, parental controls, video art lessons from DreamWorks animators, an app store housing games, music, films, e-books as well as Nabi Play featuring children’s shows from DreamWorks, Nickelodeon, Disney and Cartoon Network.
The tablet also boats Dream Pro Studio, a suite of creative tools that teaches children how to draw, animate, author their own books and edit movies.
